Camden had a great 1st week of school! A special thank you to my Aunt Donna and my mom for watching Emma for me so I could be with Camden (a big transition for both of us)! Now: my prayer request.....
There is a strike going on with the companies who provide the MIBG isotope. This is what is used for the MIBG body scans and also MIBG chemotherapy. Due to this strike, the children who need their body scans...cannot get the scan and/or those who are actively battling this nasty and aggressive cancer are not allowed to have their treatments. This makes me completely sick to my stomach. I do not know the reason for the strike (which may make a difference in my opinion), but I do know how difficult it is to have a child with cancer. I hope there is a resolution soon! Camden is scheduled for his isotope injection on Monday, June 16th (and a CT Scan) and his body scan on Tuesday, June 17th. He will also endure another bone marrow biopsy in both hips on the 17th. With that being said, please pray with us that he remains NED! God has carried us this far, please see us through to a complete remission and a lifetime of cancer free!
