(3:00p) Plan is to resume chemo at 4:00. He required two treatments with epinephrine. He is sleeping comfortably at the moment without coughing. At this point he will not get the full dose of treatment. But with these life threatening anaphylactic reactions, we have to give and take with the treatment modifications. I will update everyone later....THANK YOU for your support!!
(12:25p) We were doing okay until 11:15 when Camden started with brochospasms (coughing). Chemo was paused and it is still off. We had to give him epinephrine in the form of a breathing treatment versus an epi-pen. Treatment will resume at 12:30 at a slower rate (over 20 hrs instead)....please continue to pray! So scary! Happy Easter Crusaders! We enjoyed our Saturday with our families and we had a great Easter morning. As we leave church and head into the hospital for round 5, we ask that you add a prayer and a thank you to Jesus for Camden. Still praying for our miracle. We hope you all have a wonderful day! Much love..... Today I am thankful for all of the miracles in my life. For those who have followed Camden's journey...you know the path that my family and I have been on for the past 12 months. I thank Jesus for our miracles and Good Friday was his day of suffering... -150 total armed soldiers -23 of them trailed him while bound -83 executioners of justice -150 blows to his head -108 blows to his stomach -80 kicks to his shoulders -24 times led, bound with cords, by his hair -180 times spit in the face -6666 times beaten on his body -110 times beaten on his head -23 times roughly pushed, lifted by his hair, pricked with thorns, pulled by his beard -20 wounds to his head -72 thorns of marine junks -110 pricks with thorns in his head -3 mortal thorns in his forehead -total wounds in his body = 1000 -608 soldiers lead him to Calvary -3 soldiers watched him -1008 mocked him -28,430 drops of blood were lost His shoulders were dislocated and his biggest wound was his shoulder from carrying the cross. Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried....until the 3rd day..... ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE.... Good night friends!!! xoxo Heading into clinic.....PRAYERS PLEASE that today and the next 13 days of shots are reaction free and safe for Camden!!! I haven't been on here to much recently. I am sorry to those of you who anxiously await our updates. We are doing well. Camden is getting stronger, although we still have a lot of strengthening to do. We are going back into the hospital for round 5 on Easter Sunday. I pray with all my heart that this is our LAST admission. Camden said to me today, "Mom, I feel normal!" It is amazing to hear him say that. Again, I pray with all my heart that this cancer stays away now. Camden is doing AMAZING with his new diet. He understands what we are doing and why it is so important. He is so strong and brave! I just couldn't be more proud of him. He is also doing really well with our neighbor who has been tutoring him at home! I hope for him to be able to join his kindergarten class after he recovers from this round. We are starting his daily shots on this Friday (which last cycle he started getting localized reactions at the IV injection site). Please pray with us, that he can tolerate these shots. 14 days...the last ones! It is scary for me to give the injection knowing he gets the localized reaction. Please Jesus...continue to carry us through...Thank you Crusaders! We always appreciate your support! Camden is doing GREAT! We had a great weekend, filled with love, family, GOD, and some fishing. Camden won first place at a fishing derby...bringing home a trophy and $100.00.....he was incredibly excited, as were we. We went to a healing mass on Sunday, surrounded by about 30 of our loved ones and friends. Many miracles were taking place...such an amazing feeling to be a witness to God's love. We are so blessed to have a wonderful neighbor who has started doing tutoring with Camden. She is relieving my teacher duty, which I truly think is going to be very helpful (to me and Camden)! I am really looking forward to getting my boy back. He is extremely weak, but I have been working on building up his strength again. PRAYING WITH ALL OF MY HEART THAT OUR NIGHTMARE IS OVER....and better, brighter days will surround Camden for another amazing
