A week from today at 8:00 am our little hero will be having his full body scan, which takes an hour and a half. Every 3 months we do this and during this scan it feels like someone hit the "pause button" on your life...we sit praying that the results will let us go back to living, playing, and moving forward. We will spend the late morning and afternoon in clinic with our oncology family. I know we will not be shaken!! I know we pray without seizing, I know we lift Camden so high, that nothing horrible can happen. Trusting and believing. Come on everyone....lets do this again! We need your prayers! <3 <3
Thank you everyone who has completed or plans to complete the Whipping Childhood Cancer video. We have just surpassed the $1,000 mark with our goal being $7,000.00! Come on friends...lets help these children have an opportunity to have a normal childhood! We need funding for research, for a cure! Spread the word. Read about it here under the Whipping Childhood Cancer Challenge tab. Donate today!!! Two weeks from today is the kick off of scan week. Lets intensify our prayers for Camden that we can continue to carry the title of NED! Going into scan week is always a mix of emotions. I wish I could say Camden's left leg was 100% back to normal, but it isn't! He is soooo active and it is only apparent that it bothers him when he is fatigued. HOLDING on STRONG to my FAITH! Please God, stay with us and protect Camden!!! Trusting no different....we got this! Please see our video challenge and help us in raising money for pediatric cancer research. See the WHIPPING CHILDHOOD CANCER tab above! All crusaders have been challenged!! Please send us videos/pictures. All donations accepted (even if you do not want to be "pied")!!!!!! Thank you for your support and help us reach and exceed our goal of $7,000.00!
Each day during the month of September, I plan to share a glimpse of what it was like to battle pediatric cancer. Before Camden was diagnosed, we had no idea what pediatric cancer was all about. With awareness, brings funding. It is not easy for me to share some of our most difficult moments because I always tried to keep my posts positive. Today is day one....
Dear Crusaders, lets show Cam some love during the month of September. Lets HONOR Camden and his battle with childhood cancer....now we fight for funding for a cure! Please stay tuned for upcoming challenges. LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCE and PLEASE LETS FIND A CURE!!! xoxoxo
