In need of some help...

4/4/2014

Ok Family, Friends, and Crusaders.  I am looking for recipes for Camden's diet:  specifically for the next two years, but realistically...probably for as long as we can beyond the next two years (God willing).  We will be starting a LOW POLYAMINE diet.  It is not intended to be extremely strict, but the next two years of chemo at home is used to decrease polyamine levels (either driven by food and/or cancer cells that produce their own polyamines: prayerfully there are NO cancer cells)...In combination with the low polyamine diet (which is very restrictive)...I am looking for NO sugar recipes or no sugar added.  Cancer thrives off of sugar.  We have been eliminating sugar for a while now (extremely difficult with a 5 year old...but Camden is becoming accustomed to the new rule).  THEN to add one more component to the recipe search....ANTI CANCER foods...power foods, food items that enhance the immune system....SO TO SUMMARIZE:  I am in need of recipes that include all of the following:
1. LOW POLYAMINES
2. NO SUGAR
3. CANCER FIGHTING INGREDIENTS

My family and I have been working on this for a while now.  It involves some digging and research.  If any of you have the energy or interest in helping...IT WILL BE EXTREMELY APPRECIATED!  Private message me any questions or findings.  THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Hello Soucy family,
I am grandpa Ron Soucy's cousin up in NH.
Camden I am so happy to hear how well you are doing. You are so blessed. Continue to be brave and strong! In response to your request on healthy foods, I have heard and read that asparagus is very good in keeping cancer away.

    Mommy & Me

    Mommy

She's going to keep everyone up to date about my progress.  Isn't she the best mommy ever?

Mommy thought long and hard about my new website.  She thought about protecting me and not putting my hospital pictures online.  But my mommy wants everyone to know that Neuroblastoma isn't just another illness, that it's scary and very serious.  My mommy wants to make sure that other kids don't go through this and that their parents know what to look for.  My cancer is very mean, and I'm scared, but I have my mommy - and daddy - to rub my belly and hold me tight.  I love them so much!
