So Camden's 4 incisions from his line removal surgery are still healing. The incisions themselves look great. The sutures are dissolvable. BUT...there is a knot and small strand of suture on both ends of the incision. His oncologist told me yesterday that the skin will act as scissors and cut that strand and the knot, etc will fall off when completely healed. Today one end looks slightly inflamed and red. Praying it is his body trying to eliminate the "foreign" suture.... Praying it is not a sign of infection. We have had sooo many surgeries and sutures and I never recall those strands sticking out. I put Bacitracin on it....i guess we will see what happens. No infection, no infection, no infection....please and thank you Lord!
