AN ANSWERED PRAYER: We just received notification from Camden's oncologist to report that upon further review of Cam's June audiology test, Camden does NOT have a grade III ototoxicity. This means that Camden CAN remain in his current clinical trial that has brought survival rates from roughly 68% to 96% survival. This also means that Camden will not have to continue having hearing tests, until the end of treatment (about another year). This is an answered prayer. I just KNEW that he was not a grade III. I spent countless hours reviewing and analyzing stacks of his audiology reports. Thank you Jesus for finally getting someone to accurately review his audiograms. Feeling relieved and thankful. 💛🙏😇💙👍🙏💪

Camden had a long day yesterday. Blood work and urine testing were done, in addition to the remainder of his neuropsychology testing. I really thought that I was okay with having his body scans moved from every 3 months to every 6 months. His next scan is in January. Camden's oncologist is in agreement with waiting the 6 months, but MAN OH MAN…what a decision….I never want to live with regrets and the thought of missing something is horrible. Otherwise, we have no results on anything from yesterday.…so we wait. Praying for clarity. Please continue to pray for Camden's right ear, which shows residual redness from what could have potentially been a virus. We need IMPROVED results on the next hearing test (Oct 5th) to dodge the oncoming bullet.
Sucking a lemon is so much more simple and MUCH more cheap than battling pediatric cancer. Thank you to those of you that completed the challenge and made your donation. Please consider helping Camden to reach his goal of $7,000. We are only half way through September. Help Camden make a difference. Thank you!!

PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH: Last year I started these posts but couldn't finish them because I found myself sitting in tears for hours and hours. I still cry reading these and looking at the pictures: HOWEVER....One day....our life was normal....and in the blink of an eye.....it all changed. In honor of those children fighting the fight....I am going to repost what I started last year. We love you Camden. He was playing soccer one day....to a hospital bed the next...
Kicking the month off with donating about 12 inches of Emma's hair to our warrior friends who are still fighting. So proud of my girl.
