I was so happy that my days of dressing changes were OVER!!!! Now, as I sit in the hospital AGAIN, this time with Ron, who nearly could have cut his left thumb off on a table saw, I am back to fixing boo-boo's and doing dressing changes. Maybe I should go back to school for nursing. Ron is doing well. He has a chunk of missing thumb that cannot be fixed because there is nothing left to fix. We are waiting for a Tetanus shot and a dressing and we will be heading home....i wish i could say soon, but you know how that goes! Please keep Ron in your thoughts and prayers that this wound will heal properly...no infections, etc! Thank you!!!!
We had an amazing day today. It started with a little chaos trying to get out of the house, but when we arrived at our morning destination, "Full Gospel Interdenominational Church" in Manchester, we were immediately greeted by a group of wonderful people. This church has been praying for Camden all along and today, we brought him there and I stood before them and shared our testimony. We were amongst such loving, spiritual, and caring people. Thank you for making us feel welcome, thank you for your support and prayers, thank you for being a part of our journey. We were touched and we will be back again! ***FEELING THANKFUL***
Camden received his letter in the mail today to tell us who his "1st grade" teacher will be this year!! Way to go Cam! You are our hero!!! PRAYING that this year will be a PERFECTLY GREAT year, everything it should be for a healthy 6 year old! Praise God!!! We want to thank Lyman Orchards for their commitment to donate $1 from each admission to the Sunflower Maze to Connecticut Children's Cancer Unit!
