Camden Challenges: All of Camden's challenges thus far have come from things we practice within our home! We have no time for sadness, we work hard on our manners, we try to only say kind things to each other, and we forgive each other if something happens that may hurt our feelings. Camden's challenge #4 is sometimes hard for Emma and it can take quadruple the amount of time for her to forgive Camden of something silly that occurred. This week I want to share with you that I accepted the challenge and recognized that it was time for me to "let go" of a situation that I went through many years ago. I wrote a letter to someone who hurt me, betrayed me, and for all these years left a dark spot in my heart. Just by writing my words of forgiveness on paper...i was relieved of the many years of anger towards this person. Will I send the letter? Maybe, or maybe not....but in my heart, I have more room for love and it is an amazing feeling. Thank you Camden....you inspire me everyday to be a better, stronger person!
