10:30am Scan is done. Hope for results today. Waiting in clinic for biopsy. Haven't seen anyone yet!
Tomorrow morning at 7:30 is Camden's body scan. That will be until 9:00 and then at 9:20, he will be going in for his bone marrow biopsy. Please join us in lifting Camden up in prayer. If all of our family, friends, and crusaders could think of Camden at these times tomorrow and say a prayer for him, maybe for the first time in his short 5 years of life, we can declare cancer free. Thank you for your endless support. It is always appreciated!
Sending out my prayer request: lets kick it up a few levels and surround Camden with mega prayers in preparation for Tuesday's MIBG Scan and bone marrow biopsy! Please God hear our prayers for cancer free....thank you!!! Camden Challenges: All of Camden's challenges thus far have come from things we practice within our home! We have no time for sadness, we work hard on our manners, we try to only say kind things to each other, and we forgive each other if something happens that may hurt our feelings. Camden's challenge #4 is sometimes hard for Emma and it can take quadruple the amount of time for her to forgive Camden of something silly that occurred. This week I want to share with you that I accepted the challenge and recognized that it was time for me to "let go" of a situation that I went through many years ago. I wrote a letter to someone who hurt me, betrayed me, and for all these years left a dark spot in my heart. Just by writing my words of forgiveness on paper...i was relieved of the many years of anger towards this person. Will I send the letter? Maybe, or maybe not....but in my heart, I have more room for love and it is an amazing feeling. Thank you Camden....you inspire me everyday to be a better, stronger person! Camden is feeling better; getting some strength and appetite back. Clinic this morning went well. His blood counts were good! I caught Cam's cold (completely expected being we have been glued to each other). His seemed short lived, hope mine is too! **Slight confusion again: his bone marrow biopsy is NEXT Tuesday! Hopefully his body scan will be prior to biopsy (so he does not have to lay on his back for 1 1/2 hrs with 2 sore hips from biopsies). This gives us one more week to keep praying Crusaders...cancer free, cancer free...no evidence of disease please! |
